I am a postdoctoral researcher at two leading European System Security research groups in Europe: the VU Amsterdam in The Netherlands and the Ruhr University Bochum in Germany. I closely work together with the groups of prof. Herbert Bos (VU) and prof. Thorsten Holz (RUB). Before starting there, I worked at the Institute for Internet Security if(is) in Germany and obtained my PhD degree from the VU Amsterdam in April 2013. Although open to quite everything, my primary research focus is in these fields:

binary analysis malware detection network security

You can check out my publications or blog articles for a better understanding of what exactly I am doing. You can also follow me on Twitter (though I'm not particularly active there).
